🏡 VINYL FENCE INSTALLATION: DIG & SET vs. I DRIVE POWER SYSTEMS™ — WATCH THE DIFFERENCE.
The fence shown in this video is actually a vinyl fence repair in the Omaha area. This is an existing, older vinyl fence, and unfortunately, this particular style of vinyl is no longer manufactured.
That creates an additional challenge: how do you repair and strengthen an existing vinyl fence when you can't simply order matching replacement material?

This is one of the biggest differences we want homeowners to understand.
With a traditional dig-and-set vinyl fence, the vinyl post is commonly installed into a dug hole and secured with concrete. When the post or footing begins moving, that movement can transfer throughout the entire fence section.
Nebraska doesn't make life easy on fences.

💪 BUT DOES VINYL STILL MOVE? YES — AND THAT'S IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND.
Vinyl is naturally flexible.
If you grab the top of a vinyl post and push it, you can see some movement or flex in the vinyl itself. That doesn't automatically mean the structural steel post underground is moving.
That's a major distinction.
The outer vinyl can flex while the driven steel post underneath remains substantially more rigid.
You're seeing movement in the vinyl — not necessarily movement of the foundation supporting the fence.

A hole is excavated, the post is positioned, and concrete is typically poured around it.
Depending on depth, soil conditions, drainage, footing size, installation quality, and age, that footing can potentially shift or move.
