This week, our team completed the annual bed installations at Champions Run — and we are excited to see them grow in.

This year's design features bold, organized masses of color anchored by electric orange SunPatiens as the focal point, backed by vibrant lime coleus that will be pruned into a structured hedge.

As the season progresses, the contrast between the striking orange blooms and the lush green backdrop will only deepen — creating a dramatic, polished display that will make a lasting impression.

Nebraska has some of the most distinctive native plant communities in the Great Plains. The stretch of the North Loup River just outside Taylor is one of them — and it’s what inspired this living wall.

Our interior landscapes team drew from that specific river corridor as the design reference, our landscape construction team handled the build from the ground up, and now it’s part of our team’s everyday environment in the office.

We’re excited to debut Greenhall Commercial Landscapes!

We’re still a Mulhalls company, but we’re focusing our landscape business on the commercial space. Our store, at 120th and Maple, will do what it’s always done, but now with an increased focus on supporting our quickly growing community of residential landscaping professionals.

To be specific, Greenhall Commercial Landscapes focuses on commercial landscape management, landscape construction, interior landscapes, and snow and ice management. This focus has led to our being able to work on some of the most beautiful commercial properties in our community. We’re proud of the work we’ve done, and excited for what’s ahead.

Mulhalls Garden + Home will continue its focus on growing the conversation about making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. As a retail store, we’ll continue to sell plants, garden supplies, patio furniture, and home and holiday décor, and we’ll keep striving to inspire through our store experience and offer the best selection at the best value. With this change, we’re growing our Pro program to better serve our residential landscaping community – so if you’re a landscape professional, there’s more to come.

We’re as committed as we’ve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live, and our focus remains the same: working together to engage our community and share our passion for the beauty of the natural world.
