Two weeks later and our clients pond in Gig Harbor has crystal clear water after we did an exploratory drain and clean, fixed some leaks, installed new pumps, and got her pond filtration balanced again!

This pond in Gig Harbor needed some TLC after a few seasons without a working pump and filtration system! We shoveled loads of muck, washed the media, and located the broken pump.

The pump was shot, plumbing wasn’t fit correctly and the pump was oversized for the small 1 inch plumbing through concrete.

We replaced the pump for one with a more suitable flow and gave it a filtered housing. Did a final flush out, added fresh water, and dosed pond chemicals.

To make a more complete bio system we added a beautiful Canna African Sunset, Pink Grapefuit Lilly, Pickerel Rush, Black Madras, and some Hyacinth!

Enjoying this cool weather while I crawl around the bushes….

This week we turned this back yard into a mini-courtyard to match the clients green thumb!
We fixed drainage issues, incorporated beautiful river rock, installed a pnw blend raised lawn, and added a nice paver walk path to top it all off!

We clean water features! Felt good to clean out this nice waterfall pond and get pumps working again. Been siting stagnant for almost 2 years and now it’s back to crystal clear falls!

Another great property clean up finished in Olympia this week! Corner homes always seem to need 2x the attention…
