Fall is here and that means leaves! 🍁 It’s important to not let debris build up in your pond in order to keep it balanced.

Want a professional to get the job done? Contact us today!

These ponds have a heavy bio-load that contributes to high levels of algae in the summer so we are going to get new systems in place, some cleaning of growth, and a in house staff training to bring them into balance!

We mowed and cleared this property the other day and it was a challenge! From chest high grass and vetch to half buried cinder blocks, we fought the good fight and won.

A couple before and after photos to just to show the difference in grass 😂

Just a quick photo dump of some of the water features and ponds we’ve been in recently!

Some awesome projects are in the books so I’ll have to do better taking progress photos…

Two weeks later and our clients pond in Gig Harbor has crystal clear water after we did an exploratory drain and clean, fixed some leaks, installed new pumps, and got her pond filtration balanced again!

This pond in Gig Harbor needed some TLC after a few seasons without a working pump and filtration system! We shoveled loads of muck, washed the media, and located the broken pump.

The pump was shot, plumbing wasn’t fit correctly and the pump was oversized for the small 1 inch plumbing through concrete.

We replaced the pump for one with a more suitable flow and gave it a filtered housing. Did a final flush out, added fresh water, and dosed pond chemicals.

To make a more complete bio system we added a beautiful Canna African Sunset, Pink Grapefuit Lilly, Pickerel Rush, Black Madras, and some Hyacinth!

This was a great restoration and the local birds are more than happy for the fresh baths! Does your pond need cleaning or thinking of something new? Give us a call or head over to our website Pondandfieldlandservices.com

This week we turned this back yard into a mini-courtyard to match the clients green thumb!
We fixed drainage issues, incorporated beautiful river rock, installed a pnw blend raised lawn, and added a nice paver walk path to top it all off!
