General carpentry experience is preferred, but not necessary with the right mindset. Reliable transportation is a requirement as my work ranges from rural Pulaski County, IL to Franklin County, IL. Current state of affairs: bringing this one back from the dead. The floor system had decayed past the point of being salvageable. New main beam, and all new floor joists before new subfloor. Slowly but surely, we’re getting there. Most of the hard part is behind us now.

Porch roof in Murphysboro, IL. The homeowner hired a “Contractor” before calling me who took her money and left her with a mess. I spent three hours tearing down what was supposed to be a porch roof, and three days putting this back up. Concrete patio will be laid down in the next couple weeks to finish it up.
