When a new client in the Northeast had coating failure from a contractor less than a year ago, they called on MJP Energy Services to do the job right this time!

Intense masking and prepping on these active cooler units in preparation of sandblasting, our crew utilized canvas tarps, reinforced blast and a lot of duct tape to get things ready.

Near white sandblast clean to remove the failed coating, zinc primer, epoxy mastic intermediate and topped it all off with a high gloss urethane finish!

Man, does it shine bright like a diamond!

From in-shop operations to various project sites, our team remains dedicated to following proper safety practices, identifying potential hazards, and creating a safe environment for our employees and partners. We comply with all applicable regulatory Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements; all of our field employees are trained in first aid, CPR, and are OSHA 10-hour certified. Over one year, MJP holds more than 40 safety meetings with the crews to cover a variety of industry-specific subjects.

M J Painting Crews were busy this morning working on the old Camera Center building in Olean. Now owned by the Rigas family, they chose M J Painting Contractor to restore and paint the exterior wood trim. What a beautiful building in downtown Olean.

MJP Energy Services crews are maintaining this right of way in north central PA. Can you spot the CAT Skidsteer working ahead of our John Deere tractor? A lot to deal with on this ROW; wetlands, elevation changes, ditches etc. all in a days work for a MJP Energy Services crew!!!

That’s exactly what we did on this recent meter station project:
▪️our team identified corrosion caused by moisture around a pipe (see the rust forming beneath the support clamp);
▪️the crew carefully opened and masked the support clamp;
▪️applied a multi-layer protective coating system;
▪️then completed the project with a durable finish coat.

This allows the site to stay protected against moisture and other environmental factors for a long time.

To ensure this result, the team returned to the site for a final inspection after allowing the coating system to cure. We completed minor touch-ups where needed, and refinished the valve wheels and handles for a clean, uniform appearance.
