A little room for the little years. 💕

One of our favorite spaces from this full-home renovation we completed earlier this year—and somehow, we haven’t shared it yet.

Each sister got a bedroom with its own personality and a fun wash of color, connected by a Jack-and-Jill bath designed just for them. Separate vanity areas give each girl a space of her own, while the shared tub brings the two sides together.

And while we absolutely leaned into the sweetness of this season—yes, give us all the pink—the permanent pieces were kept intentionally timeless. Classic white cabinetry. Warm brass details. A simple, beautifully textured tile. Finishes that can grow right along with them.

Because a child’s room should feel magical today without needing to be completely reinvented tomorrow.

Luxury isn’t always the room everyone sees.

Sometimes it’s the pantry that actually holds everything.
The laundry room with storage all the way to the ceiling.
The drawers exactly where you need them.
The countertop that gives you room to work.
The things that make a Wednesday morning run a little smoother.

These two hardworking spaces were part of a full-home renovation, and they’re a good reminder that some of the best design decisions aren’t the loudest ones.

…and for the lady… perhaps a matching pool house?”

Well… she said yes. 😉

What looks like “just” a pool house is actually the next chapter of a much bigger story.

We began by completely renovating the main home. While that was underway, Ryan Hughes Design created a vision for the backyard that will ultimately become an incredible outdoor sanctuary.

Now it’s our turn again.

With permits approved, construction is officially underway on the custom pool house—the final architectural piece before Ryan Hughes and his team return to complete the landscape, hardscape, and finishing touches.

If you’re wondering why the backyard isn’t complete yet… that’s intentional.

Construction comes first so the landscape can be installed once, without us disturbing all of the beautiful work that follows. It’s the kind of planning most people never see, but it’s exactly what separates a well-executed project from a great one.

The best projects aren’t built by one company. They’re built by the right team, in the right order.

The best part?

The story isn’t finished yet.

Stay tuned… because “perhaps” is officially under construction.

A couple of days ago, we introduced you to The Sutherland House.

Every home has a story. This one starts with the family who imagined it first.

Before the walls go up and the finishes are chosen, a custom home is really about the people who will fill it with life.

Listening to this family share what this home means to them reminded us why we love what we do. It wasn’t about square footage or luxury finishes. It was about slowing down, spending more time together, creating space to gather, and building a place where their children can grow up making memories for years to come.

And if you ask their middle son… apparently that includes having 40 chickens. 🐔😂

Those are the moments that make this process so special.

Being invited into a family’s story—and entrusted to bring their vision to life—is something we’ll never take for granted.
