The Beginning...

We have been proudly servicing Johnson County and surrounding areas for over 3 years.

We are unique as a company in that we pride ourselves on high quality, and highly beautiful, landscaping projects. More specifically, we specialize in building highly functional French drains and retaining walls which are meant to last.

With our French drains, we build them much deeper and wider than our competitors. For instance, we dig trenches that are a minimum of 13 x 13 inches. We then fill our trenches with 1 inch, clean gravel and wrap it in micropore fabric. This lets the water in and keeps the mud from clogging up the drain. At the bottom, we use Advanced Drainage Solutions, 4 inch perforated drain tile.

For our retaining walls, we always build them with a strong and sturdy base. This usually involves digging the base close to a foot deep and compacting our base material, AB3, and sitting and leveling the bottom layer on top of this. We also put in a minimum of 12 inches of drain tile and gravel behind the wall, so to redirect the water and prevent the wall from collapsing due to hydrostatic pressure. Also, on our walls which are load-bearing, we roll out Geogrid to pin the wall in to the back of the hillside.
