Sometimes the better option is to just cover it up. This basement had the outdated sand additive texture that was commonly added to paint starting in the 70's I believe. It created a sand paper like texture on the walls and ceilings. The homeowner wanted a more modern look to blend with their revamped fireplace. Multiple skim coats on the walls and ceiling to smooth out the surfaces. Spray/knockdown texture on the ceiling and orange peel on the walls. The lower portion of three walls are framed out and had paneling that I replaced with drywall. The homeowner had also replaced a hinged door with a pocket door so I finished that off with drywall as well. A couple coats of paint and voila!

A small bathroom refresh. Removed the outdated shower insert that spanned the wall. Replaced with a 4' insert with a bench that left about 15" for a small linen closet. Tiled the walls, stamped knockdown texture on the celling, orange peel on the walls. New exhaust fan and toilet. The flooring was carried out into the kitchen, replacing the 3 layers of linoleum that had been put down over the years.

A frame to finish basement project in Paullina last summer. I turned this 1500sqft unfinished basement into a usable space with 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, family room with storage under the stairs and large storage space/utility room. The homeowner chose to leave the ceiling open and painted it black. The walls encased the support jacks for the main level except one in the family room which was wrapped and trimmed.

This homeowner had recently purchased this home with an unfinished 2000sqft basement. The HVAC was below ceiling level so there were a lot of soffits. I came in and did the drywall work; hang, tape and finish. Everything turned out great. They painted the walls and had the floors epoxy coated which really added nicely to the space. Thanks to Cole and Mandy Danner for the opportunity!

This client wanted to remove this 10.5' stairwell wall to give the living room space a more open feel. Vent pipes for the furnace in the wall prevented me from opening it all the way back but 8.5' sure did help. Matching the knockdown texture on the ceiling turned out great as did matching the orange peel texture to the hallway wall. A new railing and fresh coats of paint rounded out the project.

This client wanted a new deck and entry door added to her house so she could enjoy the beautiful outdoor weather. The small landing around the corner was freshened up to match. Trex composite decking. Westbury aluminum railing.

Small makeover for this deck. Added on to make it 14'x14'. Replaced the worn out green treated deck boards and railing with Ultradeck composite decking.

Complete exterior remodel. Replaced the siding, soffit and fascia with prefinished LP products. New Marvin windows, 6 of which were double the size of the existing. Replaced garage and side walk in doors and installed 3 storm doors. The roof and garage door were also replaced by other companies. Very happy with how this turned out. Shout out to Chris Graen with Hassle Free Roll-Offs for helping us out with the dumpsters. Quick and friendly service. Great to work with.

Bathroom remodel. New everything except door, door trim and wall cabinet. Ran into an issue with the shower drain that required me to raise the shower pan 1 1/2" off the floor. Used a piece of PVC trim against the shower pan and floor to cover the gap. Turned out well.

Installed a new sliding patio door, trim and repaired the plaster above the door.
