What has the legal system come to today? A woman I did a job for months ago has now managed to file charges of fraud against me. I completed 75% of the work on our contract when we had a disagreement and parted ways. I was willing to finish the job if she was willing to pay for the extras incurred as we got deeper into the remodel. Now I face charges because she told a one-sided story that was not 100% true. She had slandered my. Character and my company's integrity. Now we have to hire an attorney for something that could have been settled outside court rooms.
