Everyone says they’re “custom.” 🧐

But custom can mean anything from:
“Here are our plans—pick one and let’s make some changes.”

to:

“You have 10 acres, a Pinterest board, a budget, and a vision with absolutely no freaking clue where to start? Cool. Let’s figure this out.”

👆 That second one is where design-build comes in.

It’s not necessarily about one being better than the other. It’s about knowing what kind of help you’re actually getting BEFORE you sign on the dotted line.

Because if you’re building on land, the house is only one piece of the puzzle.

So ask the builder:
What does “custom” actually mean here?

In all seriousness, one of our favorite parts of the job is walking a piece of land with someone and talking through the possibilities.
