From a ribbon cutting celebration straight into another groundbreaking at the FISTA Innovation Park, big things are happening in Lawton.

The Lawton Prototype Integration Facility (LPIF) will add 200,000 square feet dedicated to high tech manufacturing and testing, along with a separate 100,000 square foot airport area depot designed to maintain critical defense systems.
Together, these two projects are projected to bring 130 new jobs to the Lawton area, creating opportunities that extend far beyond the facilities themselves.

For FISTA CEO Dr. Ratliff, that impact is personal:
“This is important to me because I was born and raised right here in Lawton. I grew up here, moved away from university because of job opportunities that didn’t exist.”

That is what makes this project so meaningful. Job opportunities are a catalyst for growth, not only for individuals and their families, but for an entire community. By supporting our nation’s defense, these projects are also creating pathways for local Oklahomans, strengthening Lawton’s economy, and giving the next generation more opportunities to build their futures right here at home.

Last week, TRADESMAN was fortunate to be part of a ribbon cutting celebration at the FISTA Innovation Park in Lawton for their new anechoic chamber. 🎉

This project is an impressive achievement and a testament to the incredible work of our FISTA team. The FISTA Innovation Park Board selected TRADESMAN on January 21st, 2025, and just 18.5 months later, the public was welcomed into one of the most cutting-edge anechoic chambers in the country. This feat wouldn't have been accomplished without our construction trade partners at QUAD.Build, Inc.

It is an incredible accomplishment for the team and another major milestone for FISTA, the advancement of national defense technologies, and the Lawton community. Great job everyone! 👏

As we say goodbye to our summer interns, Ayla, Carly and Ethan, we want to wish them nothing but the best as they head into another school year! 🎉

We feel incredibly lucky to have had them as part of the team this summer. They jumped right into the workload without hesitation, brought fresh perspectives, and approached every challenge with an open mind and great energy.

From helping our team tackle major projects to simply filling the office with more laughter, each of them made a real impact. 👏

Thank you for everything you contributed to the TRADESMAN family. You will be missed!

Momentum is building, and this project is officially moving into its next chapter. With demolition complete, construction is now underway. 🚧

This location was once home to the Anna Maude Cafeteria, the site of one of the most notable peaceful protests of the civil rights movement 65 years ago. It is an incredible honor to be entrusted with a building that carries such historical significance.

As we transform this space into a luxury mixed-use apartment community, our team is committed to preserving as much of the original character as possible. Celebrating its rich history while creating something new for future generations. 🙌

Projects like this are about more than revitalizing buildings. They are about breathing new life into downtown OKC, expanding housing opportunities, and creating beautiful places for people and families to call home. We are proud to play a small part in shaping the next chapter of this remarkable building's story.

Before school ended for the summer, our Senior Interior Designer, Kylie Huddleston, had the privilege of critiquing senior capstone projects at the University of Oklahoma.

With her sharp eye for detail and industry expertise, she was honored to help evaluate the incredible work of these talented students.

We’re continually impressed by the creativity and passion coming out of our local universities. Keep chasing your dreams, you never cease to amaze us! ✨👏

Yesterday, we had the honor of attending the groundbreaking ceremony and celebrating this incredible milestone. This project represents far more than the endurance, grit, and determination of the Rose Rock Development Team.

As we look into the future, it marks the beginning of a community. A community that will provide homes for 262 families, create opportunities for people to live in the heart of the city while also contributing to the renewed energy and vitality of downtown.

Countless individuals worked tirelessly to carry this vision forward, and seeing it become a reality is truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who believed in this project and never gave up. The best is yet to come!

Throwing it back to an unforgettable night at the Oklahoma Interior Design Awards! 🏆

We had an amazing evening celebrating with industry friends and family, enjoying great food, inspiring conversation, and a fabulous live auction featuring beautiful local artwork.

We were beyond thrilled to learn that The Harlow took home not one, but TWO awards. First Place in the Living Category and the honor of Best in Show! 🎉

Projects like The Harlow are only possible because of the many talented people who help shape them along the way. This project was years in the making and truly a collaborative effort from so many incredible partners and creatives.

We’re grateful, honored, and proud to have been part of such a special project and an unforgettable evening. ✨
