Another commercial remodel wrapped up. 🔨

We recently finished this transformation in Ogden, taking what was once a retail skate shop and indoor skate park and turning it into a space that better fits Crossroads Academy and how they use it.

One of my favorite parts of this project is how all the finishes came together. The dry-fall ceilings and open structure completely changed the feel of the space, and I love the combination of the tile, chrome fixtures, wood accents, lighting, and overall color selections.

There’s a lot that went into this one: new offices, media/workshop space, lounge, updated bathrooms and showers, new lighting and HVAC, plus a recreation area with a pickleball court, rock climbing wall, skate park, and space for a future gym.

A completely different building from where we started.

Huge thanks to the Crossroads Academy team for trusting us with it. We’re proud of how this one turned out!

BEHIND THE BUILD 🏠 | OGDEN HOME ADDITION

A look behind the scenes at one of our latest projects in Ogden.

This addition is really starting to take shape. We’ve worked through the structural phase, got the roof dried in, doors and windows installed, and recently passed our 4-way inspection.

One of the biggest details on this project was building up the new floor system to eliminate an awkward step down from the existing home, one of those things you’ll probably never notice when it’s finished, but makes a huge difference in how the new space ultimately feels.

Next up: insulation, drywall, exterior cladding, and watching this project start to feel less like an addition and more like it’s always belonged here.

4-WAY PASSED âś…

Another big milestone on this Ogden addition.

Roof is dried in, exterior doors and windows are installed, and we built up the existing garage floor with a raised platform so the new living space flows right into it without a step down.

Now that 4-way is behind us, we’re headed straight into insulation and drywall.

Getting a step closer every day with this bad boy. 👊🏼

Sometimes what you can’t see is the most important part of the project.

On this addition, we discovered one side of the existing structure didn’t have a proper foundation wall. Before moving forward, we had to bring in engineering, revise the plans, and make sure everything was built safely and correctly.

This is the stuff that happens behind the scenes that most people never see, but it’s exactly why having the right team matters.

This kitchen remodel was all about opening things up and dialing in every detail. We removed walls to create an open-concept layout, even closing off an extra deck door to maximize cabinet space and functionality.

The result:

• An enormous island built for gathering
• GE Café appliances for a clean, elevated look
• Full-height quartz backsplash with a live-edge floating shelf
• Custom Sheoga hickory hardwood floors throughout the main level
• A custom stair railing to tie it all together
• French gold fixtures and accents for a warm, refined finish
• Level 5 smooth ceilings with custom stencil work

This one came down to precision. Every line, every transition, every finish was intentional, and it shows.

Handing over keys to this Liberty home 🔑

There’s a lot that goes into the final stretch, dialing in every last detail.

Final touch-ups, deep clean from top to bottom, full systems checks. Punch lists, walkthroughs, and final inspections to catch the small things others miss.

This is the stage where the worksite officially becomes a home, and these wonderful owners can finally move into the space they’ve been waiting so patiently for.
