Why do we change our shingles “when they look fine”?

To protect our decking.

Why do we protect our decking?

To protect our insulation.

Why do we protect our insulation?

To protect our ceiling.

Why do we protect our ceiling?

To protect all of our valued items we work so hard for, as well as our safety and our health to prevent mold and water intrusion.

You see, a Roof is not just a Roof. It’s a system full of different components that all have to work properly and work together in order to work as a whole to provide protection.

“But it’s only been on for 13 years”

So you don’t see the need to change the oil in a car if the car is running fine?

No, we change our oil every 3-5k miles. We change it before the issues arise!

So let’s get that roof looked at and replaced before we have to change other components other than just shingles. Shingles may sound pricey.. but shingles, Decking, Insulation , Drywall, Mold treatments, valued items, Health and safety become a much much larger price that is 100% avoidable.
