Loose Hardie Plank / fiber cement Siding?
Repairing your Hardie Plank siding after a storm is important, especially if the storm has loosened or damaged individual planks. Even damage that looks minor can lead to bigger problems if it isn't addressed promptly, such as:

Prevent water intrusion: Loose or cracked siding can allow rainwater to get behind the siding and into the wall assembly, potentially causing rot, mold, or damage to insulation and framing.

Stop further damage from occurring: Wind can continue to loosen already compromised planks. What starts as one loose board can turn into multiple damaged sections.

Protect your home’s structure: Properly installed siding helps shed water and protect the exterior walls from the elements.

Prevent pest entry: Gaps created by loose siding can provide openings for insects and other pests.

Call Mallard Exteriors today to have your Hardie Plank repaired or replaced.
