This concrete floor was covered with carpet we first ground the concrete to remove any high spots then applied a chemical moisture barrier (non-toxic/boc compliant) then put down 3/4” plywood followed by aqua bar v***r barrier so we could finally put down 3/4” thick solid oak 4” planking. The custom one off reducing strip was make by hand on site going from 1/16” to 1” making a wonderful transition from the tiles in the hall to the wood floor. This was then sanded with multiple grits of sand paper and finished with waterborne semigloss urethane (non-toxic/voc compliant). Another check in the win column for happy customers.
