Thank you Texas Roadhouse Clermont for hosting a Back to School bash for our community!

The children in our community are the future. We’re honored to play a small part in helping them prepare for the 2026-2027 season with some basic school supplies, and some face painting fun!

Time to get into the holiday spirit! For the third year in a row, we’re so excited to share that Luxar Homes is once again teeing up for the Baby DJ Golf Tournament, presented by Wheatley Realty Group!

If you’re not familiar, Baby DJ is a local nonprofit started by Johnny Magic of XL 106.7, and for over 30 years they’ve been on a mission to make sure every child gets to experience the magic of Christmas, regardless of their family’s circumstances. Families in need can write in and share their story, and Baby DJ steps in to make sure those kids wake up to gifts on Christmas morning. Every holiday season, hundreds of volunteers come together at their toy warehouse to collect, sort, and distribute thousands of toys to families all across Central Florida.

Getting to be part of something like this, giving back to the community we get to build homes in every day, genuinely means so much to us. We can’t wait to be out on the course again this year for such a great cause.

We love a good before and after! 😊 This one is a great example that keeping it simple will still give the refreshed look you’re looking for in a renovation!

New cabinets, new countertops, and a waterfall edge that gives the whole kitchen an elevated feel.
We didn’t touch the layout, we replaced the same cabinets and added features that fit with the homeowners lifestyle — like the built in wireless phone charge in the countertop!

Okay, technically it’s two decisions… but one really did the heavy lifting!

We used clear glass instead of a shower curtain or frosted door. No visual break, just a clean line of sight straight through the space. We normally use glass enclosures for the primary bathroom, but what we don’t normally do…

… is we carried the same tile from the floor onto the walls. No transition, no color change, no stopping point for your eye. The whole shower reads as one continuous surface instead of a boxed-in section. Choosing a lighter tile also helped brighten the space, and help the natural light shine and reflect throughout the bathroom.

Same exact footprint, completely different feeling once finished.

This is the kind of thing we think through on every project — not just what looks good in photos, but what actually changes how a space feels to stand in.

Sometimes, you really do just have to “trust the process”!

Meet the youngest members of the Luxar Homes team, Leo and Vincent! While they may not be running the job sites just yet, they’re already helping inspire the homes we build.

From making sure there’s room for a basketball hoop in every driveway to testing out the best backyard play spaces, they remind us that great homes are built for making memories.

When they’re not “supervising” a project with their parents, you’ll usually find them running around outside, playing video games, or enjoying a well-earned popsicle after a busy day.
