This Veterans Day (November 11, 2026), Ocala Baths is proud to participate in Baths for the Brave, a national partnership dedicated to providing FREE, high-quality shower & bath remodels for deserving veterans.
About Ocala Baths
We are a locally owned and operated business in Ocala, Florida, proudly serving our community for the past 6 years. Our owner, Cody Zeh, is honored to bring this incredible program to our local veterans.
What is Baths for the Brave?
Created in 2016 by entrepreneur Brian Gottlieb, founder of Tundraland Home Improvements, Baths for the Brave is a nationwide partnership of home improvement companies committed to providing FREE shower & bath remodels for veterans.
The mission is simple:
❤️ Restore independence.
❤️ Restore dignity.
❤️ Improve safety.
By replacing outdated or unsafe bathrooms with walk-in showers or safety tubs, this program helps remove physical barriers and reduce the financial burden many disabled and elderly veterans face. Today, Baths for the Brave serves veterans in more than 35 states.
We Need Your Help!
We're looking for nominations of veterans who could truly benefit from a safer bathroom.
Candidate Requirements
🇺🇸 Military Service
• Must be a U.S. Military Veteran (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, or Reserves).
• Veterans from any era of service are welcome.
• Must not have received a dishonorable discharge.
• A DD-214 will be required.
🏡 Home Ownership
The veteran must own their home or have authorization to make permanent modifications.
Unfortunately, the following situations do not qualify:
• Renting from a private landlord
• Living in assisted living or senior living communities
• Living in HUD or other housing where modifications require approval
• Living with family members who do not consent to the remodel
🔨 One-Day Installation
The home must be compatible with our one-day remodeling process. Ocala Baths will handle all permits and scheduling, but the installation must be able to be completed in a single day.
🎥 Media Participation
This incredible event may be featured by local media, and Ocala Baths will have a professional video crew documenting the project. The selected veteran must be comfortable being interviewed and having their home and remodel shared publicly.
