In more than seven years at Salem Stones, Nick Reynolds has never been afraid to ask what might come next.
He started in Customer Experience, worked with Key Accounts, and handled major projects before joining Sales. Nick credits coworkers and leaders who supported his growth and shared what they knew.
“When I got that opportunity, it was kind of, I had that feeling of belonging, like really belonging.”
Those relationships still shape how Nick works. What he values most in a teammate is a “genuine desire for the success of others.”
He has watched Salem grow, too.
“We are still the same company; we’ve just matured,” he said.
Nick’s life outside Salem has grown, too. Earlier this month, he got married after a year spent preparing for the wedding with his new wife.
A former high school football player, Nick remains an avid fan and organized a Salem fantasy football league with the Sales team this year. His competitive side also comes out through strategy and tabletop games, where he enjoys challenging himself and learning from more experienced players.
“I love it. Anything that’s role-played, like strategy games, I’m all for.”
Whether he’s talking about work, the people around him, or life outside Salem, Nick puts a lot of himself into the things and people he cares about. At Salem, he’s found a place where he feels like he really belongs.
