Stuck inside with Mom & Dad during this Nor’easter?

Starting to remember why you wanted to move out?

Relax. You’ve got company. 😝

According to the National Association of REALTORS® 2026 Home Buyers and Sellers Generational Trends report, first-time buyers make up just 21% of homebuyers — the lowest share NAR has recorded since 1981.
With home prices and borrowing costs where they are, younger buyers are having one hell of a time getting their foot in the door.

So… hear us out:

Move out of Mom & Dad’s house… and into a container home 75 feet away!

You get your own place.
You get a chance to actually stash some money away.
Mom still cooks.
Dad definitely wants you out… but he still needs someone to mow the grass for free.
And you’re just close enough for Mom to keep doing your laundry.

Parents LOVE this idea!

Maybe the path to owning your own place doesn’t have to look quite as traditional as it used to.

Worst case, you’re still living with your parents. You just don’t share a wall with them anymore. ✌️

Business meeting? Technically. Container nerd field trip? Absolutely. 😂☕️

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to spend some time with the owner/CEO and a member of the sales team from the company we purchase our containers through. They traveled in from Europe and South America, and after countless calls, emails, text messages, and containers, we finally got the chance to meet face-to-face.

And naturally, we couldn’t just meet at any coffee shop…

We met up at Twin Valley Coffee , where they recently completed this gorgeous container facility. We grabbed some coffee, talked containers, and of course had to walk around and check out the project.
The entire property is incredibly clean and inviting, the container work looks fantastic, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. It’s always fun seeing what other people are doing with containers — especially when it’s done this well.
But the best part of the day was getting to spend some time face-to-face with the people we’ve built such a great relationship with.
Calls, emails, and text messages are one thing — getting to shake hands, talk shop, share some laughs, and spend time together in person is another.

We’re beyond grateful they made the trip and took the time to visit. We truly value the relationship we’ve built and look forward to continuing to grow it for a long time to come.

And a big thank you to Twin Valley Coffee for the hospitality, the great coffee, and for giving a few container guys plenty to look at. 😉☕️

For our 100th Instagram post, we spared no expense on the photography. 😂

No professional photographer.
No dramatic lighting.
No freshly painted custom container home sitting in front of a mountain sunset.
Just us out here slinging boxes.

We’d show you more custom builds, but apparently those require permits, approvals, reviews, revisions, more reviews, possibly a blood sacrifice, and our personal favorite… waiting for the township to answer an email.

Turns out there are only so many times you can hit refresh before you start questioning your sanity.

So while the wheels of local government turn at the blistering pace we’ve all come to expect… we’ve got boxes to move. 😎

And lately, there have been plenty of them.

We’ve been getting a lot more calls from people who don’t need anything fancy—they just need a solid shipping container for storage. And honestly, we’re here for it.
10s, 20s, 40s. New, multi-trip, used, and even specialty units.
Whether you need something clean and pretty or just a big steel box that keeps your stuff dry, we can help.

It’s hard to believe a quarter of a century has passed since September 11, 2001 — a day that changed our country and so many lives forever.

Today, we remember the 2,977 souls who never made it home. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who gave everything to save strangers, and the families who have carried an unimaginable absence for 25 years.

We remember the fear and heartbreak — but also the courage, compassion, and unity that followed.

May we never forget the lives that were lost.
May we never forget the heroes who answered the call.
May we never forget how precious life truly is.

25 years later, their memory lives on. ❤️🇺🇸
