Welp. They say a dog looks like its owner. Mine is the one on the left that looks like an 80 year old man after you mowed over his daffodils. The happy one on the right with the purple ears is Sarah’s.

When I started BILT with an old Chevy and a 5x8 homemade trailer, I remember unloading bricks by hand at the dump… which led me to my first experience with my now good buddy Nick and his dad Dave, where I rented the magical invention called a dump trailer!!

All these years later, we own almost all the equipment we need, but whenever we’re broke down or need something we don’t have, or just miss getting yelled at about how I tie stuff down wrong on my trailers, I stop in and see these ol boys.

Just felt like shouting them out today, happy Monday yall!!

Seems I broke my toe trying to rescue my Shrocks roast beef sandwich from a bear on Marsh Hill Road on Wednesday.

Jk I tripped on a 30 lb weight going to the bathroom in the middle of the night haha stay safe out there yall!!

What an epic night we had at our monthly BILT hangout 🙂. We just couldn’t be more grateful for a team where there’s no drama, no ego, just love and support for each other, and getting high on building the most beautiful projects, with the happiest clients ever!

We got tired of waiting months for cabinet doors, so we solved the problem, we now fabricate and finish our own cabinet doors, drawers, and boxes right here in Garrett County 🤠

For years I’ve been asked why BILT doesn’t do new construction. Here’s one main reason why: when you build a wrap around roof over a dear retired couples porch so he doesn’t have to shovel snow, and so they can sit out together in the rain, that just brings more joy to me than anything. And I want to do as many of these projects as we possibly can every year, rather than one long project. More value to more great people!!
