As summer wraps up, we want to give a massive shoutout to our incredible interns, Bryson and Niko!

These two spent 2.5 months putting in real, hard work across both our Oakland and San Jose shop locations. From fleet maintenance, spray painting, and vehicle detailing to warehouse logistics, inventory organization, and facility upgrades.

A special highlight for our family was having Bryson representing our 3rd generation on board this season from the Gill Family.

We hope to see both Bryson and Niko back at the shop during school breaks and for sure next summer! Looking ahead, we would love to see them attend trade school after graduating high school in two years like they are planning on and eventually join our team full-time as future electricians and working their way up.

Thank you both for your energy, dedication, and hard work this summer—we are incredibly proud of everything you accomplished!

Investing in continuous education, technology, and strong labor partnerships is at the core of how we deliver value to our clients. Members of The Gill Family Legacy Team recently attended the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Conference in Maui this July 2026. It was an incredible opportunity to participate in educational sessions on emerging industry trends—from exploring how AI is reshaping project management and efficiency to strengthening our commitment to union partnerships and prioritizing mental health support across our industry. It was also a special milestone to have three generations represented together at the event—Brad Gill, his daughter Megan Gill, and his grandson Bryson Schulte (Megan's son), who joined us as our summer intern —engaging with the broader electrical community. Thank you to NECA for hosting an outstanding event. We look forward to applying these new insights and values to our upcoming projects!

Breaking Newt News: The reopening date for South Park Drive in Tilden Regional Park is being adjusted to occur on Friday, April 3 due to the rain expected mid-week. Visitors may continue to walk and bike along the road until Friday.
