In this addition, we used a structural ridge beam. By letting the ridge do the heavy lifting at the very top, we completely eliminated the need for horizontal collar ties or cross-beams. The result? A massive, uninterrupted open ceiling that maximizes every inch of vertical space.

We are back at our Morristown project, and the sunroom is coming together. We’re past the rough in stage and getting into the fine details. Custom tongue and groove ceiling and box beams, final window and door trim, and more. Next up is paint and final finishes. Stay tuned to see how this space turns out!
