Another week in the books and we’re heading into a special weekend.

Working outdoors teaches you that not every day goes according to plan. Some days bring sunshine, some bring rain, and some bring challenges you never saw coming. But little by little, the work gets done and progress keeps moving forward.

As we head into Father’s Day weekend, I’m especially thankful for the opportunity to spend time with family and reflect on how fortunate I am to be a dad. The projects, deadlines, and to-do lists can wait for a couple days.

Wishing all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures out there a wonderful Father’s Day weekend. Enjoy the time with those who matter most.

🌱 Bringing a Beautiful New Home to Life 🌱

A new home is only part of the story—the landscape is what truly brings it to life.

Here’s a sneak leak at what our team started this week in Oakdale as we began to transform a blank canvas into the beginning of a welcoming outdoor environment with new foundation plantings, specimen evergreens, mulch and a freshly prepared lawn ready for seeding.

The best part? What you see today is just the start. As the lawn fills in and the landscape matures over the coming seasons, this property will continue to grow in beauty and character.

Appreciation Post 💙

Today’s appreciation post goes to my amazing wife, Pam.

If you know our family, you know she’s the glue that holds everything together. She’s constantly on the go, making sure everyone is where they need to be, taking care of things behind the scenes, and somehow keeping all the moving parts of our busy lives running smoothly.

At home, she does more than anyone could ever ask. At work, she’s the friendly voice and smiling face that keeps our office running as our receptionist. From answering calls and helping clients to managing the daily chaos that comes with a family business, she handles it all with grace and patience.

The truth is, none of us could do what we do without her.

Pam, thank you for everything you do for our family, our business, and everyone around you. We appreciate you more than words can say.

Project Update: Coming Down the Final Stretch

After a quick vacation, running one pallet short of pavers, and a week of unsettled weather, poly sand is done and this outdoor living space has a gorgeous finished paver patio!

It’s always exciting when a project reaches this stage—past the heavy construction and into the finishing details that bring the project to life.

🔨 Next up:
• Granite bar top
• Ceiling fans
• TV mount and installation
• Mini fridge
• Mantle installation
• Final cleaning, touch-ups and detailing

🌱 Once the structure is complete, we’ll shift our focus outside to final grading, topsoil, and seeding to restore the surrounding lawn and tie everything together.

The finish line is in sight, and we can’t wait to share the completed transformation.

This week’s rain has definitely slowed progress on a few of our projects. As much as we’d like to control the schedule, Mother Nature always gets a vote.

But when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.

The extra time has allowed us to fine-tune some project details, plan for upcoming projects, and prepare for the next stretch of busy days ahead.

Sometimes progress isn’t measured by what gets built in a day, but by how well you prepare for what’s next.

We’re grateful for our hardworking team, patient clients, and the opportunity to do what we love—even when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
