05.03.26. We have been so lucky to follow our passion in designing, building and caring for gardens that we sometimes forget about Instagram. Here’s a few pics from the first garden we installed this year. We’ve got a lot of great new gardens we are working on this year and this was the first! Putting in garden #4 and 5 in this week. It’s wonderful to work with clients excited to transform their yards into beautiful and ecologically beneficial garden spaces.

02.06.26. Took some time away from the design desk to place my eyes on the beauty of northern New Mexico. Not sure if it was due to the chaos of these times, but I was moved to literal tears by an amazing drift of red willows. We still have a lot to still to learn about the ideas of harmony and community from nature.

Not all plants can stand up to the pressures of snow, but many can, and will keep your garden looking beautiful throughout the winter months. We create gardens with four seasons of beauty, and four seasons of benefit to nature.

06.03.25. This lovely backyard oasis with a new pathway and intimate sitting area got installed today. We decided that as good as it looks today, this is the worst it will ever look. Gardens mature, knit together, and become a habitat and resource for wildlife and people. We look forward to all of those beautiful things!

10.12.24 How great to spend time in a remnant prairie collecting seed to help the prairie flourish, to be outside with those who also savor this rare opportunity, and to see your son between the grasses with a bag-full of hopeful seeds, in the land the next generation can hopefully also enjoy. Gardening and stewardship is certainly about hope.
