An exciting day in our home as we handover the keys to the new owners of the Norwich house. We are so happy our girls get to be hands-on in our work. We’ve said it before and we will say it again, may they learn through us to leave things better than they found them. Whether it be homes or people, restoration is possible through hard work and determination and the joy of seeing things come back to life is a worthwhile process. ✨

✨ Outdoor Space ✨

It doesn’t look like much but one thing we learned from the pandemic was to always create an outdoor space where people can gather in the homes that we design. This patio was functional but we took it to the next level by lifting it, adding skylights, lights and making the space as waterproof as possible. It’s not only beautiful but now it’s very functional for outdoor gatherings. Add a cozy seating area and dining table and you’re in business. ✨

We took this closed off kitchen and made it open to the rest of the living space. One of our biggest goals was to add in as much natural light as possible and I think that made all the difference. This kitchen feels warm and inviting while having a high level of design. We hope this kitchen is a gathering space for the new owner. ✨

This home is located in historic Oak Hills. It was a dream to get to restore a home in this area. This neighborhood is filled with mid-century modern architecture and has such a community feel between the parks, trails and community center.

For the exterior, who doesn’t love a white house with black trim?! These arches were brought back to life and the front porch brick was swapped out for venetian plaster. This new exterior design makes you wonder what the inside must look like. ✨

✨Primary Bedroom ✨

I don’t know about you but I think the primary bedroom should feel like a spa retreat and in my mind that doesn’t involve carpet in the bathroom! This bedroom and bath was a complete gut job. Between the deep soaker tub, the open steam shower, and the added custom closet it couldn’t be any more functional and stylish. This is definitely where I would want to land at the end of a long day!
