This bedding area is so special to me...
It started out as just an idea, but it's evolved into so much more.
It's where I experiment. It's where I create. It's where I dream!
I've packed it full of my favorite plants and every single evening I just gaze at every inch of it in wonder as the plantings reach for the sun.
In spring, white Daffodils and Hyacinths brought the first color along side the Lungwort.
Then the Spanish Lavender and Nepeta took center stage. Constantly filled with the buzzing of bees. The Foxglove has also been attracting bees and hummingbirds for the past few weeks as well.
Soon the striking red Bee Balm will erupt with color. They'll be joined by Echinacea, Sea Holly and Hollyhocks.
Later in the season a really cool sunflower variety and Autumn Joy Sedum will burst into color.
Watching this bed fill in is magical and something every gardener should experience!🌿🌿🌿
