Demo, prep, and haul.

…A HUGE part of the project is what you take out. It’s one of the most labor intensive, unseen, and under appreciated parts of the process in building a new landscape. Often we are trying to preserve cherished memories and features of a life once lived while we carve out, clean, and breathe life back into the land and spaces we rebuild.

Staying tuned… I don’t think you will be disappointed by this one!

Finally got a chance to try out the “boulder buddy” rigging straps… Was a nice way to solo-rig and move a 3-man granite boulder with an address plaque in it. This particular rock had been previously cleaned and sealed, so not scratching it up with bucket teeth was pretty important.

Some of my favorite people!

This time of year can be pretty intense for us as a landscaping company. Long hours, hot weather, projects stacking up, and always feeling like there is more that needs to be done. This type of work takes its toll on family life, your body, your energy, and sometimeruns your cup to empty. The folks in picture are those that help to fill it back up!

Done!

Boulders, dry creek beds, cowboy coffee flagstone paver pathways, gravel flat-scapes, big raised planting beds… The goal: No more lawns, reduce maintenance, handicap accessible, and make it beautiful.

Big thank you to the crew and vendors for all of the extra help to make this come together!
