A Beautiful Floor Starts with a Solid Foundation
Most people only see the finished floor.
What they don’t see is everything that goes into making sure it performs for years to come.
For this project, the existing plank subfloor wasn’t suitable for a direct luxury vinyl installation. Rather than take shortcuts, we took the time to build a proper foundation by installing a fully fastened OSB overlay before laying the new flooring.
The extra preparation creates a stronger, more stable floor and helps reduce movement that can affect the finished product over time.
