The Petunia Patch The Petunia Patch is a Victorian cottage, located in the heart of historic Oak Bluffs. Two (2) bedroom apartments available for weekly rental.

Little sister, Sweet Pea, is a small, separate cottage on the property and is also available for rental. We've owned and operated The Petunia Patch and Sweet Pea since 1985. When we first bought the cottages, they were in serious need of repair and renovation. Bringing them to their present state has been a real labor of love. Over the years, we've enjoyed hosting many interesting, wonderful guest

s who have added new dimension to our lives. Some of those guests have been coming for longer than twenty years! Every winter, as reservations begin to come in, we look forward to a new and exciting rental season - familiar faces and new faces - all of them welcome on our porch any time!

Circuit Ave., Cottage City (Oak Bluffs), probably 1880s or 1890s. From left to right: the Pawnee House, the Metropolitan Hotel, and the Oakwood (where today stands Eastaway, the Corner Store, and the empty lot once containing Phillips Hardware.) The ground floor of the Metropolitan was occupied for decades by Norton’s Pharmacy and Rausch’s ice cream parlor. The top stories of the Pawnee house were removed in the mid-1950s, but its first floor survives today.
