A great home gym isn’t only about the equipment. It’s about creating a space where you actually feel good working out.

Because this gym is located in a basement, Jared paid careful attention to two elements that homeowners may not immediately think about: light and air.

With only two casement windows available, geometry was used to shape the window openings and maximize the natural light entering the room. Layered LED ceiling and track lighting provide additional flexibility, allowing the homeowners to adjust the atmosphere based on their workout, mood, or preference.

Air quality was equally important. The basement is tightly sealed with foam insulation, so an HRV system was installed to continuously bring in fresh outdoor air while transferring heat from the outgoing air—helping ventilate the gym without sacrificing energy efficiency.

These are the behind-the-scenes details you don’t have to think about when you hire the right contractor. You simply get a space that looks beautiful, functions properly, and feels great to use.

Ever wonder how a detail like this actually gets built?

This curved detail in our basement kitchen wasn’t something we could simply order, it had to be engineered, tested, and built from scratch.

Jared takes you behind the scenes, sharing the inspiration, technical drawings, and construction process that brought this idea to life.

Using cabinet-grade plywood, we made a series of precise relief cuts so the material could bend without breaking, then used epoxy to lock the curve into place before installing the stone and floating shelves.

It’s one of those details that most people notice without realizing just how much planning and craftsmanship went into it.

Watch to see how an idea became one of our favorite features in the space.

We are putting the finishing touches on this custom entertainment center—and every element has been thoughtfully considered.

Extra-deep drawers are cleverly recessed into the wall to maximize storage without adding visual bulk. Custom cabinet trim creates a seamless mounting surface behind the TV, while integrated COB LED lighting highlights the custom shelving and adds a glow along the top and bottom of the entertainment area. Large-format tile was selected to complement the rest of the basement and bring the entire space together.

The result is a stunning focal point that feels clean, cohesive, and completely custom.

Fireworks may only last a few minutes, but the memories made with family and friends last a lifetime.

We’re grateful to have played a small part in creating outdoor spaces where those memories can happen—from summer cookouts to quiet evenings on the deck.

Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and memorable 4th of July! 🇺🇸

A basement staircase should feel like an invitation, not an afterthought.

For this project, we opened the space by removing walls and adding a structural beam for support, creating a brighter, more welcoming transition to the lower level.

We then elevated the design with custom molding details and a one-of-a-kind railing, built using Viewrail components and customized specifically for this home.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful planning and attention to detail can transform even the most functional spaces into standout design features.

Experience unobstructed backyard views with this sleek, custom railing designed to blend safety with modern elegance.

When designing this Westwood deck, the railing wasn’t an afterthought—it was an important part of the overall vision.

We wanted something that felt sleek and modern while providing the safety and security every family needs. Just as importantly, we wanted to preserve the beautiful view of the backyard, allowing the landscape to remain the focal point.

To make that happen, we worked closely with the team at ViewRail to customize a solution that perfectly complemented the home’s architecture and the deck design.

The result speaks for itself—but so does the installation.

Watch closely and you’ll see the precision our team brings to every project. Every post is carefully aligned, every measurement checked, and every detail thoughtfully executed to ensure the finished product looks as exceptional as it performs.

It’s this level of planning, collaboration, and craftsmanship that turns a great deck into a space homeowners will enjoy for years to come.

Every detail in this basement renovation was designed with intention.

As you enter the space, your eye is drawn down the hallway to a stunning kitchen that serves as the focal point of the entire lower level. To preserve that experience, every element along the way was carefully considered. Mechanical systems, storage areas, the gym, and bathroom access were thoughtfully integrated to keep the focus squarely on the welcoming destination ahead.

Thoughtful design is often about what you don’t notice as much as what you do.

Stay to the end to see the inspiration behind the vision. The full project reveal is coming soon.

On this project, the two back doors did not step out at the same height. One was too high, the other was too low.

Instead of treating that as a small construction detail, we planned the deck and landings so each step would feel consistent and natural as you move from one side of the house to the other.

That kind of detail may not be immediately visible, but you feel it every time you walk through the space.

This is where experience matters. A well-executed renovation is not just about how it looks. It is about thoughtful planning, smart design decisions, and understanding how a home needs to function for everyday life.
