We planted this mini-orchard of apple, raspberries, and plum, with an understory of yarrow, echinacea, and alliums this morning. This client looks forward to making her grandmother's German Plum Cake recipe with the fruit from her own trees. Hearing the connections folks have to the plants we care for is one of my favorite parts of the job.
