Contractors Design Engineering (CDE), originally founded in 1997, is a local Engineering & Surveying Company, a small business (5 full time employees, 2-3part time), with low overhead cost, serving primarily Huron, Erie, Sandusky & Seneca Counties for over nineteen years, enabling us to provide nearly instant service at a fraction of the cost of a larger, out of town, company. -Qualified for non-complex roadway design and right-of-way design & review, qualifying them to handle state or federally funded sewer, streetscape/roadway reconstruction projects that would be done. Weaver, P.E./CPESC (President) was the primary representative for CDE, acting as the City Engineer for the City of Willard. Where he oversaw all engineering projects involved within the city. Don, also, served as the resident City Engineer for the City of Fostoria of 1996 -1997. As City Engineer in Fostoria, Don oversaw the day to day operations, design, rehabilitation, and construction of the Storm and Sanitary Sewer Separation, Storm Sewers, Sanitary Sewers, Pump Stations, Force Mains, and CSO’s (Combined Sewer Overflows) within the city. Don has also served as lead engineer on projects for the City of Norwalk, Erie County and numerous private development projects in many different jurisdictions. Adam Weaver P.E., P.S. (Vice-President) is a licensed Engineer and Surveyor with over fourteen years of experience handling municipal projects along with many private development projects. Don and Adam are principals of the company and are the primary contact for all projects. Don and Adam stay deeply involved in the day-to-day development of CDE’s engineering and surveying projects, and stay in close personal contact with their clients.
