Question of the day: what’s the hardest part of owning a women-owned business?

For me, it comes down to integrating family, kids, and work.

At Evolution, I understand that firsthand. I have two daughters, and I know that real life doesn’t pause for work. Some days it’s a broken finger, other days it’s forgotten homework, and those moments are just part of it.

There are no penalties for life happening. We handle it, support each other, and the work still gets done!!

That’s real life, and that’s the culture I believe in at Evolution.

From ranch to two-story in just two weeks.

This Holbrook home is getting a full second-story addition, and the transformation is happening fast!! In just 14 days, we’ve demoed the roof, brought in a crane, framed the entire second floor, sheathed it, roofed it, and started plumbing rough-ins for two new bathrooms.

If you own a ranch, adding a second story can be one of the most cost-effective ways to dramatically increase your living space. By building directly above the existing footprint, you can nearly double your square footage without expanding outward.

We just kicked off this kitchen renovation in Lynbrook, and one small structural change is going to completely transform the space. By squaring off a corner, removing a half wall, and reworking the layout, we’re creating enough room to replace a peninsula with a beautiful new island.
