RESTORATION PROJECT of: 1964,18-ft. Thompson wood boat, heretofore.
Structural Repairs:
-Replace large section of damaged starboard bow planking, from waterline to sheer.
-New oak starboard bow gunwale rail.
-New oak outer stem.
-Three new oak deck beams.
-Five square feet of damaged port quarter bottom.
-Three new oak port quarter ribs
-New entire outer oak keel/shoe.
-Port side sole ribband.
-Fabricate new forward oak sole framing.
-Entire sole replacement. (floor)
-New mahogany transom.
-All new five ply mahogany decks.
Fiberglass Application:
-Bottom, apply 6-oz cloth set in 4 coats of resin, waterline down
-Topsides, apply 2-oz cloth set in 3 coats of resin waterline to sheer.
-Decks, apply 1-1/2 oz cloth set in three coats of special clear resin.
Finishes:
-Entire hull, 2 barrier coats with Interlux's "InterProtect"
-Waterline up, 2 additional coats of epoxy "PrimeKote"
-Bottom, 2 coats CPP red anti-fouling
-Top sides, White & Blue, 3 coats of Awl-Craft catalyst paint, sprayed in our shop by Chris Doyle of Bruce & Johnsons.
-Transom, 12 coats of hand applied Interlux "Schooner 96"
-Interior, 3-1/2 gallons of boiled linseed oil and Schooner 96.
To be re-powered with; period correct 75 HP, V-4, Johnson electric shift.

Front foyer redesign - with the straight stair box sets removed, a curved quarter turn stair has been installed, together with accompanying curved walls, upper and lower curved panels, and french interior doors with transom. The back side features three 8-ft high paneled walls with a concealed door.
