One of my favorite clients, and one of the people who supported JS Painting from the very beginning. ❤️

I’ve always appreciated how kind, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful she is to work with, so getting the opportunity to paint her new home was especially meaningful.

The finished space has such a warm, calm, and timeless feel to it. Soft, natural colors, subtle contrast, and clean finishes all come together to create a home that feels incredibly peaceful and inviting.

We worked throughout the kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, foyer with the tray ceiling, hallways, and the walls in the great room.

As always, the finish started well before the first coat of paint: • Complete Festool sanding of all applicable surfaces
• Multiple rounds of detailed imperfection hunting and correction
• 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint
• 2 coats of Natural Linen in Duration Matte
• Outrigger on the darker section of the tray ceiling
• Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel in Semi-Gloss on the crown

The goal is always a finish that feels effortless when you walk into the room — clean, refined, and built to complement the home rather than overpower it.

And honestly, getting to work with people who are as kind and appreciative as this client makes the work that much more rewarding.

🖌️ Master Bedroom, Closet & Bathroom Transformation
This project started with extensive wall repairs, followed by a complete sand-down using our Festool dustless sanding system and multiple rounds of imperfection hunting to make sure every surface was ready for a clean finish.
For the finish:
• Sherwin-Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint on the ceilings
• Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel in Semi-Gloss on the trim and doors
• Sherwin-Williams Duration Matte in Natural Choice on the bedroom and closet walls
• Sherwin-Williams Duration Satin in Natural Choice on the bathroom walls
The prep work disappears when the job is done—and that's exactly the point. The final finish should look smooth, clean, and like the imperfections were never there.

Complete refresh with same colors. Home owners were not happy with previous painters work so I was able to reset the wall texture and lap marks with my from Festool USA. 2 coats semi gloss urethane, 1 coat promar ceiling and 1 coat duration satin in matched wall color.
