The crew is definitely hard at it today in terre haute, indiana
This 12/12 roof ended up having 4 layers of shingles as well as a layer of shake shingles under that. Which means a total re-deck as well. But it will soon have a new SBS malarkey shingle roof!

Saturday morning and the crew has shingles tore off by 7:30.

High winds can test the limits of any roof. That is why we engineer our shingles to stand their ground against the elements. 🏡

Malarkey revolutionized wind resistance by inventing the longer backing shim to help prevent wind blow-offs. In standard laminated shingles, a narrow shim leaves a tiny overlap area for fasteners to grab hold. Our extended design drastically increases the multi-layer reinforcement zone. This ensures your shingles are locked down securely to withstand severe weather.

It is a simple design adjustment that delivers massive peace of mind when storm seasons arrive.

Upcycled tires protecting your home from the sun? Sounds like a wild idea, but it’s actually the secret to premium weather protection.

At Malarkey, we don't just recycle; we upcycle. By incorporating advanced rubber polymers from used tires into our proprietary NEX® Polymer Modified Asphalt, our shingles get a massive, built-in boost in elasticity and natural resistance to UV aging.

It's premium roof performance made from resilient upcycled materials. Better for your home, better for the planet. 🏠🌎

What if your roof could help clean the air you breathe? 🌬️🌱

In 2018, Malarkey pioneered another massive industry first by introducing shingles featuring smog-reducing granules. By integrating this specialized photocatalytic technology, we engineered a roof that actively neutralizes smog pollutants from the atmosphere.

In fact, a single Malarkey roof has the smog-fighting capacity of approximately 2 trees. We turned standard roofing into an active tool for cleaner communities, proving that an everyday roof can do more for our environment.

An 80% spike in major hail events. That’s the reality Iowa faced between 2022 and 2024, with Iowa City taking the lead as the most vulnerable area. 📈

To stay ahead of changing weather patterns, standard protection often isn't enough. Investing in impact-resistant shingles designed for shock dispersion gives your home a layer of flexibility, helping you avoid the headache of severe storm damage and constant repairs.
