Bay Village… this one’s officially in the books 🔥

What started as a dark, outdated basement is now a clean, functional space built to actually be used—and enjoyed.

We went all in on this one—took it down to the joists, rebuilt HVAC soffits, updated electrical and plumbing, added a custom TV wall, installed LVP throughout, dropped in new dry bar cabinets with quartz tops, and wrapped it all up with a full paint refresh.

9 weeks. Total transformation.

This is the kind of project that reminds you how much potential is sitting right under your feet.

👋🏼 Facebook Friends!

Looking back at another major stage of our Bay Village basement refresh.

After passing our rough-in inspections, we were able to start closing everything back up. That’s always a big milestone on a project—once everything behind the walls is inspected and approved, the space finally begins turning back into the finished living area.

From there the progress started moving quickly.

✅ Drywall went up and the rooms began to take shape again.
✅Base cabinets were installed for the new dry bar and laundry area.
✅Quartz countertops followed shortly after.
✅We then installed new LVP flooring throughout the main living space and laundry room, finishing it off with trim work.

This was the stage where the basement really started to feel like a completed space again instead of a construction site.

Next up at that point in the project was painting—bringing all the finishes together and pushing us toward the final stretch.

Wrapping up this week in Bay Village—but before we close the book, let’s rewind 📽️

The short video in this post takes you back to the beginning: demo down to the joists, rough framing underway, and the bones of the project coming together before any finishes go in.

From there, this basement refresh moved through a full transformation over 9 weeks:

• Ceilings opened up and HVAC soffits rebuilt
• Major electrical updates and a new plumbing mop sink
• Custom TV wall added for the main living space
• New LVP flooring throughout the living area and laundry room
• New dry bar cabinets topped with quartz countertops
• Fresh paint on existing paneling, laundry block wall, and all new drywall ceilings and walls

Today’s progress looks like this:
Paint crew finishing strong on their final day, punch list being built, and the final details getting dialed in.

Basements don’t have to feel like an afterthought. When you start with a solid demo, clean rough framing, and a clear plan, the finish speaks for itself.

Flashback Friday! 🥳

This was a kitchen remodel we completed in the City of Avon Lake, OH a few years back.

We demoed everything and uncovered multiple layers of flooring and ceiling. We brought the floor level, closed in a window, moved the stove and fridge, and installed tall upper cabinets with under cabinet lighting.
