There is a reason gardens decline under standard lawn services. Mowing and blowing is not gardening. It is grass management.

Real grounds care notices that the hydrangea was pruned at the wrong time and lost its blooms. It catches the early signs of crown rot in the daylilies. It sees the bare patch where the salt creep is starting before it spreads.

Mulch is the most underestimated piece of a healthy garden.

The right depth (two to three inches) keeps soil temperature steady, holds moisture, and quietly feeds the bed as it breaks down.

Too thin, and the soil dries out. Too thick and you suffocate the roots.

We mulch every Lifestyle bed with the same attention as a planting plan, because the layer below the surface is what holds the season together.

Walk your beds this week. If you can see soil through the mulch, it is time for a refresh!

50 years is long enough to watch the industry shift twice.

The first shift was equipment.
The second was workforce.
The third, happening now, is how clients want to relate to the people working on their property.

Through every shift, the constant has been craft. The companies that survive in landscape design are the ones that refuse to let craftsmanship erode under the pressure to scale.

We are 50 this year because we have not made that compromise. We do not intend to start!
