Sticky locks?
In our dry and windy climate, locks exposed to the elements can sometimes get stubborn and sticky. Rather than replacing the lock or using a lubricant such as W-D 40, (which can attract dirt and grime) we recommend Houdini spray. It cleans, lubricates, works in sub zero temperatures, prevents corrosion and rust and is non-friction--- it’s a superior choice! Every now and then I get a call from a parent whose child has been accidentally locked in a car. If you ever find yourself in this situation, don’t panic, just do these things to get your child out safely.

1: First, and most importantly, stay calm. If you're upset and scared, the child will be too. Assure them that you are there with them and you're helping them.

2: Next, call a locksmith and let them know you'll need help asap.

3: If possible, shade the windows from the sun with a blanket, cardboard etc.
If you are at home, you can spray water on the car to keep it cool.

4: In the event a locksmith cannot come immediately or the child needs medical assistance, call the police to help with emergency situations.

As a last resort, if all else fails, and you decide to break a window, (example: you're in a remote area and cannot get help for a long time), a passenger window is the best choice. People often think a small or pop-out window is cheaper to replace, but they are often the most expensive car window to replace.
