-You’ve got real experience in commercial or agricultural carpentry (post‑framing, stud framing, or similar).
-You can read a tape, follow plans, and build square and plumb without hand‑holding.
-You show up on time, sober, and ready to work.

-You actually like working with your hands and getting things done not standing around watching other people work.
-You know how to dress like you are going to a construction site and not a basketball tournament.
-You are not afraid of heights and can walk purlins or sheet a roof.

What You’ll Do:
-All aspects of building wood framed buildings.
-Set posts, stud frame walls, install trusses, install metal roofing and siding.
-Install interior finishes like liner panel or truss core.
-Install doors, panels, and misc repairs on existing structures.
-Work safely at heights with lifts, ladders, and fall protection.
-Work as part of a crew under a foreman to hit schedule and quality targets every week.

What Winning Looks Like (First 90 Days)
-You’re reliably on site, on time, with your basic tools every day.
-Your work passes inspection checks the first time.
-You wait until your break to respond to texts and tweets from your friends or talk on the phone with your mom about what you want for dinner.
-You can take a task (e.g., “frame this bay,” “sheet this wall”) and execute without babysitting.
-The crew wants you back on the next project.

What Causes Condensation in Buildings?

Condensation is one of the most misunderstood building problems.

Many people assume it is a roof leak, but that is not always the case.

Condensation is often caused by warm, moist air hitting a cold surface.

Common contributors include:
• Poor ventilation
• Lack of insulation
• Missing v***r control
• High humidity inside the building
• Unheated or partially heated spaces
• Improper roof or wall assemblies

These panels with a factory installed felt coating are a perfect option for unconditioned storage buildings. The felt absorbs condensation the instance that it forms. Then holds the moisure until humidity and temperatures stabilize and then the moisure is released back into the air.

Can You Stay Operational During Construction or a Facility Renovation?

For farms, trucking companies, warehouses, and production facilities, shutting down is usually not an option.
There is almost alway a way for you to stay operating during a construction or renovation project, it may just not be at 100%.

Some things to consider when planning a project:
• Where employees will work
• How trucks, equipment or livestock will move
• What areas need to stay accessible and operational
• When deliveries happen
• What work creates the most disruption
• How weather could affect exposed areas
• Whether temporary openings or protection are needed

With proper planning you can finish your project while keeping the business moving.

Door placement can make or break a building.

Overhead doors are not just openings in a wall. They affect workflow, traffic patterns, safety, snow removal, heating costs, and how efficiently employees can use the building.

Before deciding where doors go, it helps to think through:
• How trucks or equipment enter and exit
• Whether vehicles need to pull straight through
• Where snow piles will go
• How doors affect interior layout
• Whether future additions are possible
• How wind and weather hit the building

A building can be the right size on paper but still be frustrating to use if the doors are in the wrong place.

Post Frame vs Steel: Which is better?

One is not always better than the other.

Post-frame construction can be a great fit for agricultural buildings, storage buildings, equipment buildings, and many light commercial uses.

Steel buildings may make more sense when you need:
• Wider clear spans
• Taller eave heights
• Heavy industrial use
• Large overhead doors
• Future mezzanines
• More demanding structural requirements

The right choice depends on how the building will be used, not just what is cheapest upfront.

There is also a hybrid option like the one in the photo above that combines the best benifits of both materials.
