This week, Connecticut brought the kind of heat that makes you question every life choice that led to standing outside in work boots, and our field teams still showed up ready to take care of customers, properties, equipment, and each other.
While a lot of us were trying to stay close to air conditioning, this crew was loading trucks, running machines, applying treatments, caring for landscapes, solving problems, and pushing through the kind of weather where the truck seat feels personal and shade starts looking like a five star resort.
That deserves real appreciation. Field work is demanding on a normal day, and in blistering heat it takes grit, patience, pride, and a pretty strong sense of humor to keep going. There are easier places to be than next to a hot truck, a loader, or a Z Spray in the middle of a Connecticut heat wave, and our team made it through those long days with toughness, professionalism, and the kind of work ethic that makes a company proud.
To our Landscape team, Alberto Rodriguez, Alicia Brunetti, Cristian Juarez, Cruz Rodriguez, Henrry Cordero, and Vili Carrasco, thank you for the craftsmanship, teamwork, heavy lifting, careful work, and steady effort you bring to every property. The incredible part is the way you make it through long, hot, physical days and still keep moving with pride in the work, even when every shovel, wheelbarrow, and piece of equipment feels like it has been preheated.
To our Lawn Science technicians, Chris Langley, Chris OโConnor, Greg King, Jess Walker, Max Bousquet, Ryan Jessop, Steven Keiser, Tim Salvatore, and William Koch, thank you for keeping lawns healthy, customers informed, equipment moving, and routes covered during a week when Connecticut seemed determined to impersonate a sauna with a zip code. Anyone can talk about dedication, this crew showed it with sweat, sunscreen, and probably a very personal relationship with their water bottles.
American Landscape and Lawn Science works because of the people who show up in the field every day. We are grateful for the early mornings, the sweat, the problem solving, the customer care, the patience, the toughness, and the pride this team brings to the work.
Thank you to our field team for showing up, working hard, looking out for each other, and representing American Landscape and Lawn Science so well. We appreciate you more than you know. ๐
