Caterpillar and chrysalis galore in the hatchery box. I was at the garden this morning trimming some bushes. I got one one bucket limit and while I was working 5 different types of butterflies flew all around me.
I saw a gulf frit, a queen,a monarch a sulphur butterfly and pipeline swallowtail.

It felt so good to see them back.
I'm asking for some help putting some plants in the garden.
If your bored, lol the plants are placed where I want them. Surprise me.
Speaking of surprises thank you for the flags and the many beautiful painted rocks. It brings a smile to my face every time I find one.
Well my butterfly loving peeps. Stay cool and enjoy the day.

When we think of pollinators, bees and butterflies usually come to mind but they're not the only ones helping our gardens thrive.

Many moth species are important nighttime (and even daytime!) pollinators, visiting flowers for nectar while supporting healthy ecosystems. From sphinx moths to clearwing moths, these fascinating insects play a much bigger role than most people realize.

Have you ever spotted a hummingbird moth or sphinx moth in your yard?

Milkweed holds profound significance as the sole host plant for monarch butterflies, making it a symbol of transformation and the interconnectedness of nature. Native American cultures have long revered milkweed for its medicinal properties and its role in the natural world.
