I needed to write a hopeful song before getting out of bed this morning - 'cause we can't stay under the covers.

Last week I posted Chris Hedges' discussion with John Mearsheimer about Israel. John is a professor of International Relations at the University of Chicago. He's a West Point grad and earned his PhD in International Relations from Cornell.

Yesterday, John sat down with Center Stage, on Al Jazeera, to (mainly) discuss the ongoing genocide in Gaza. He touched upon the importance and utility of controlling the narrative - which is why you'll not see him interviewed in depth on any major western "news" outlet. Another key take-away, quoting John: "One does not want to underestimate how important it is for Israel today to have military support and economic support from the United States. There's no way Isreal could be fighting these wars without lots of support from the United States."

There's genocidal blood on our hands, folks. How dare we claim to be a purveyor of liberty.
