Sometimes the best stories are hiding in plain sight. During renovation, the original Southern Ice Company signage was found beneath layers of paint and carefully preserved. Today, this restored structure is home to Samet Corporation’s office, part of the Ice House at Park Circle development where our own office is located. Introducing our latest healthcare project in Summerville: a 100,000 SF, four‑story medical building to the I‑26/Nexton Parkway corridor. The exterior blends brick, EIFS, and metal panel with generous storefronts that bring daylight deep into the interior, anchored by a wood‑look jewel box entry. Inside, the building supports a full orthopedic clinic, imaging suites, an ambulatory surgery center with operating rooms, and therapy and administrative spaces. Biophilic interior design draws on Lowcountry Orthopaedics’ oak‑tree branding using canopy‑inspired light, natural palettes, and fractal patterns to reinforce themes of renewal, stability, and healing.
