Project Update | Charles Towne Landing Puma Habitat Replacement
Robbins Construction Group is proud to be making significant progress on the Charles Towne Landing Puma Habitat Replacement project in Charleston, South Carolina.
Located within Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site—South Carolina’s birthplace and one of the region’s premier historic and educational destinations—this unique project will enhance the puma habitat while creating an improved and more engaging experience for visitors for years to come.
Site development activities continue to advance, with extensive tree clearing and vegetation removal now complete. Concrete footings for the new viewing area have been installed, and the concrete knee wall is formed and scheduled for placement this week. Structural steel columns have also been erected, establishing the framework for the future impact-resistant glazing system.
Work is also progressing within the puma holding area, where enclosure improvements are underway to support the overall habitat enhancement efforts.
We are honored to partner on a project that will have a lasting impact on both the community and one of South Carolina’s most treasured historic sites.
Great work by our team and trade partners as we continue bringing this exciting project to life.
