Hello friends! I’ve mentioned some of the plans for the Dorchester expansion that I am privy to. Here’s a small sneak peak on what’s to come… Construction is looking to start in 2028. This project will widen and beautify Dorchester from Micheux Parkway to Old Trolley Rd. This will bring Dorchester from 4 to 6 lanes. From what I understand, this will also bring us pedestrian- friendly sidewalks, new businesses, and mindful access in and out of communities.

What does this mean for residents on Dorchester… most likely higher home values!!!
Now is the time to buy 😁🙋🏼‍♀️🏘️

Big changes are coming to a state highway in the Tri-County area, but seeing orange cones on the pavement is years away.
