GlassEco manufactures a variety of elegant and ecofriendly hard surfaces for interior and exterior use. Product lines include countertops, hearths, fireplace surrounds, shower walls and pool surrounds. GlassEco Surfaces are handcrafted in North Charleston, SC with 100% recycled glass... Most of which is locally sourced, diverting tons of would be refuse from South Carolina landfills each year. The

environmental advantages of repurposed glass are certainly impressive, but unlimited design possibilities have made the material even more appealing. Terrazzo style glass countertops are an increasingly popular choice among consumers who are seeking a durable and stylish alternative to natural stone. There are several manufacturers, with varying commitments to sustainability, who specialize in this style. Most are equipped to deliver surfaces that are scratch resistant, heat resistant and beautiful, but the ability to customize a countertop is typically limited. Based in North Charleston, her company transforms recycled glass—much of it collected from local restaurants and hotels—into beautiful, high-quality countertops and surfaces, giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.

Originally from Northern Virginia, Elizabeth has called Charleston home since 1991 and remains deeply connected to the community she serves ❤️. Her work not only supports local businesses but also contributes to a more sustainable future for the region.
