"Say It With Cookies 'N' Fruit" was the theme of our September meeting. Our guest speaker, Taylor Moncrief, of "Edible Arrangements" provided us with information about the many different items that their company has to offer. At the end she gave a demonstration on how they make their fruit arrangements. Then our members were invited to sample their cookies and the fruit arrangement.

Our August 18th meeting centered around planting our succulents for our upcoming sale at Walsh University. On August 26 and 27th we displayed the succulents in the entrance of David Hall for students to purchase. There were a wide variety of succulents and containers. The response was overwhelming. The students love to purchase these to decorate their dorms. These young ladies and men are such a joy to meet and interact with. Thank you all for making it a success.

The Herb Society hosted the annual Tales in Thyme at the Hoover Historical Center at Walsh University. Our very own club President, Cindy Bagocius, was the host story teller for the day. The book she chose to read was titled "Lady Liberty's Holiday". A tale about when Lady Liberty decided to leave her post and travel the USA. The Lady Liberty she hand made was wonderful. Great job Cindy.
