As the weather has warmed up and the grass has started growing like crazy (if you're quiet, you can hear it) we want to issue a friendly reminder that it is a violation of city ordinance AND state law to intentionally deposit grass clippings in a roadway. Not only is it dangerous for motorcyclists, it can cause problems with the storm water system. When mowing along the street, make the first few passes so the clippings are blown toward the yard so they are not the street.
