When designing a smaller walk-in closet, one of our goals is to maximize storage without making the room feel smaller in the process.

Two things we often recommend are choosing a lighter finish and incorporating integrated LED lighting.

A lighter finish helps the space feel brighter and more open, while LED lighting brings light directly into shelves and hanging sections that could otherwise feel dark or enclosed.

Together, these design choices can make a small closet feel noticeably brighter and more spacious, without changing its footprint.
